其實(shí)在寫一篇學(xué)術(shù)文章里，經(jīng)常不知道如何開頭，所以有些開頭的模板句就出現(xiàn)了，比如，With the development of society/With the development of technology,people…不要否認(rèn)你的雅思/托福作文里從來沒用過這兩句…這里說一下，這個(gè)句子是有邏輯上的錯(cuò)誤…，這句話里with的部分是people的隨從成分,但是,社會(huì)發(fā)展或者科技發(fā)展跟people有直接關(guān)系嗎？？所以以后不要用了。具體的論文introduction模板同學(xué)們可以看看下面的例子。

開頭段Introduction
有點(diǎn)跑遠(yuǎn)了…回到開頭段（Introduction),它的目的是什么呢？簡(jiǎn)單來說就是
介紹文章的主題
Introduce the topic of the essay
提供主題的一般背景
Give a general background of the topic
指出文章的總體計(jì)劃
Indicate the overall plan of the essay
如何能達(dá)到這個(gè)三個(gè)目的？
第一，要寫一般性陳述（General statement)
這個(gè)部分主要是為了達(dá)到開頭段前兩個(gè)目的，介紹文章的主題（Introduce the topic of essay)和提供主題的背景（Give a general background of the topic）。一般的陳述應(yīng)該隨著介紹的進(jìn)行而變得越來越具體，引導(dǎo)讀者進(jìn)入文章的主要觀點(diǎn)。在雅思或者托?？荚囍械拇笞魑膶懽鳎话阈躁愂鲆话憔蛢傻饺湓?，第一句一般是對(duì)題目的改寫，第二句是進(jìn)一步的解釋或者是對(duì)一些中心詞匯進(jìn)行定義(Definition)（如果需要的話）第三句話是你的立場(chǎng)從而引出你的中心觀點(diǎn)（Position)。
下面舉個(gè)關(guān)于出國(guó)留學(xué)的題目(adopted from：Eapfoundation）
Overseas study
An increasing number of students are going overseas for tertiary education.To what extent does this overseas study benefit the students?
Most people spend around fifteen years of their life in education,from primary school to university study.（A）In the past,students only had the opportunity to study in their own country.Nowadays,however,it is increasingly easy to study overseas,especially at tertiary level.（B）Tertiary education,also called post-secondary education,is the period of study spent at university.（C）As the final aspect of schooling before a person begins their working life,it is arguably the most important stage of their education.(D)
思考題：A,B,C,D四句話，分別是什么目的呢？（background,position,definition)
第二，要寫中心陳述（thesis statement）
中心陳述是開頭段（Introduction）里重要的部分，因?yàn)橐粋€(gè)好的中心陳述會(huì)告訴讀者你對(duì)整個(gè)問題的理解和你想要論證的觀點(diǎn)（Argumentation),同時(shí)會(huì)告訴你的讀者你文章總體的結(jié)構(gòu)（Indicate the overall plan of the essay）和你將討論哪些點(diǎn)。
還是用出國(guó)留學(xué)的題目舉例子：
Overseas Study
An increasing number of students are going overseas for tertiary education.To what extent does this overseas study benefit the students?
While there are some undoubted benefits of this trend,such as the language environment and improved employment prospects,there is also a significant disadvantage,namely the high cost.
這個(gè)中心句告訴了我們出國(guó)留學(xué)會(huì)給我們帶來兩個(gè)好處(language environment/improved employment prospects），但是同時(shí)也有缺點(diǎn)（high cost）。所以通過這個(gè)開頭段，我們知道作者很大程度上同意留學(xué)會(huì)給學(xué)生帶來好處，但是不可否認(rèn)的也不好的地方。
總結(jié)
在學(xué)術(shù)寫作的開頭段必須要有的兩個(gè)部分，general statement和thesis statement。一般立場(chǎng)（Position）要在開頭段表現(xiàn)出來。關(guān)于論文的立場(chǎng)（Position)不一定是絕對(duì)支持支持或者反對(duì)的,你也可以保持中立（sit on the fence)。但是不管怎么樣你要給出你的原因，去論證為什么你有這樣的立場(chǎng)。還是那個(gè)原則，議論文沒有正確或者錯(cuò)誤的立場(chǎng)，只要能自圓其說就是對(duì)的。好了，關(guān)于如何寫開頭段（Introduction)就到這里了。
